About the Author

The majority of my life was spent in California, from the beaches of Redondo Beach, to the wine country of the San Francisco Bay area, and the farm country in the Sacramento Valley.

Born in Texas, I was raised in Washington, just east of Seattle and attended the University of Washington. One day, I packed my belongings in my little red Fiero, and headed south to sunny California, without a job and no where to live, to seek my fortune. I only meant to stay a few years, but a funny thing happened on my way back home. I met my future husband and together we had three children, all boys. Currently I live on an island off the coast of Washington state. My hobbies include reading, cooking, putting together jigsaw puzzles and traveling.

I spent years working as a loan officer and a substitute teacher before beginning my writing career. My first book in my Roses & Rebels series, Token of Betrayal, was published in December 2022. The second book, Betrayal of Trust, is slated for publication in July of 2023.

I’m a founding member of Paper Lantern Writers. I am also a member of the Historical Novel Society and the Alliance of Independent Authors.
